1• Masque of Death(VDA)
A character who possesses this
power call pry himself from death's grip. The character can awaken
himself or another vampire who is in torpor.
2• Blight (VDA)
This power allows the character to cause rapid aging in an opponent.
The victim begins to suffer the effects of old age: skin becomes pallid
and thin,
bones become brittle, and the victim may even begin to experience
advanced effects of arthritis or other ailments of the elderly.
3• Awaken (VDA)
A character who possesses this
power call pry himself from death's grip. The character can awaken
himself or another vampire who is in torpor.
4• Death's Whisper (VDA)
For a brief time the character sloughs off Caine's curse. While the
character is under the influence of this power he is not affected by
any of the traditional
banes against vampires. His body is not burned by sunlight, and holy
water does not harm him in any way; however, his body becomes nothing
more than a corpse. A character who is staked through the heart while
under this power is still paralyzed once the power's effects wear off.
This state is beyond that of even torpor; the character cannot use
Disciplines of any kind, and is unaware of anything that transpires
around him. For the duration of the power, he is truly dead.
5• Black Death(VDA)
By touching an individual. the character can cause the victim to
experience an early death (or, in the case of vampires to enter
torpor). The victim, if mortal, begins to exhibit signs of plague:
sunken and hollowed eyes, swollen lymphs and a sickly pallor of the
skin. Within one day, all bodily functions cease. Cainite victims of
this power enter torpor immediately.
6• Vigor Mortis(VDA)
By feeding a corpse some his blood, the Cainite may reanimate the body,
creating an undead servant that serves its master until it falls
completely into decay.
This walking corpse cannot talk (though some have been known to utters
low moan), but is servant to its creator through the Blood Oath.
As soon as the first blooddrop falls onto its lips, the corpse
animates and begins to drink of its own accord. This can be a dangerous
time for the
Cainite, as some corpses have been known to continue feeling after the
initial Blood has been taken.
A zombie created in the method has the same Physical Attributes as
the original person, and the body appears as it did at the time of
creation. These creatures do have some intelligence but are so
overwhelmed by the bond to their masters that they seldom exhibit free
thought. They possess three extra Health Levels, do not suffer wound
penalties, and are destroyed when they reach Incapacitated.
These automatons crumble to dust on the third sunrise after their
creation. The duration of their existence can be extended by feeding
the creatures more blood at the time of creation.
6• Reaper's Passing (ClB Cappadocians)
By using
this power, the Cappadocian creates a "near death experience" in the
subject of her choice. The victim immediately experiences a nonfatal
heart seizure.
6• Animate Host (Dark Ages Companion)
This will raise a number of corpses. The reanimated creatures exist a
short time to do the vampire's bidding. Generally used for front line
fighting and servants.
7• The Leper's Gait (ClB Cappadocians
The Cappadocian selects one of her target's limbs and induces internal
atrophy and decay. The limb immediately becomes useless, and will rot
and fall off gruesomely within a few days. If applied to the head of a
mortal, this will be fatal. Vampire must touch her target. If this is
used on a vampire, its effects will wear off when the vampire rises the
next night, although if the vampire's head is affected he may not use
Disciplines or feed until healed.
7• Sense Death's Imminence (VDA)
The vampire can
detect sudden ebbs of life energy which occurs when things die. With
skill, the vampire can interpret the energy flow accurately enough to
tell when somebody nearby dies or even perceive the impending death of
a living subject.
When somebody dies within 50 yards of the vampire, this ability when
activated will sense it. Each success adds more information. Senses
nearby death, basic idea of the cause of death, general location and
more detailed cause of death, specific location and events surrounding
the death, extremely detailed information regarding the death.
The
vampire can also attempt to discover the strength of death's hold on a
living person except the length of time until the victim's death is
revealed instead of location
8• Plague Wind (Dark Ages Companion)
The vampire can unlock the decay in everything around them and tap into
the death that dwells in all living things from mortals to beasts to
plants. Human and animals waste away in hours, plants wither and decay.
The Plague Wind does not descriminate; everything within the area of
effect, except the vampire himself, is subject to its corrupting
influence. Vampires are not immune to this although it effects them in
different ways. If they can't resist the effect, they fall into torpor.
Even if they do resist, they become plague-carriers for 3 days.
Costs 2 Willpower pts and the vampire touchs intended victim. The
plague flows outward in a putrid wind from the target to others around
him.
